11th TELSİM Freezone Inter-High School Music Competition Signatures Signed – BRTK
The Ministry of National Education and Telsim have joined forces once again to promote the talents of high school students in the TRNC. A protocol was recently signed for the 11th Telsim Freezone Inter-High School Music Competition, marking a continued partnership between the Ministry and Telsim.
Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu, Telsim General Manager Sefer Tüz, and Telsim Deputy General Manager Fevzi Tanpınar came together to sign the protocol, highlighting their commitment to the social, cultural, sportive, and artistic development of students in addition to their academic growth.
During the signing ceremony, Minister Çavuşoğlu emphasized the importance of nurturing students’ talents and expressed gratitude to teachers and Telsim for their support. He emphasized the role of competitions like the Telsim Freezone Inter-High School Music Competition in motivating students and fostering their overall development.
Telsim General Manager Sefer Tüz shared his enthusiasm for organizing the competition once again, noting the high level of participation and engagement from young people in the TRNC. Last year’s competition saw a record number of 29 groups from 25 high schools participating, showcasing the growing interest and passion for music among students.
With a total of 1366 students having participated in the competition to date, Tüz highlighted the positive impact of the competition in fostering teamwork, friendship, and personal growth among young people. The competition serves as a platform for students to showcase their talents and explore their potential in various areas.
Looking ahead, Tüz expressed hope for continued participation from all high schools and emphasized the long-term commitment to supporting students in realizing their dreams. Applications for the competition, themed “Enjoy the Talent Within You”, will be accepted from October to December, with the final event scheduled for April 2025.
The ongoing collaboration between the Ministry of National Education and Telsim underscores their shared goal of empowering and inspiring the youth of the TRNC through music and artistic expression. As the competition continues to grow and evolve, it promises to be a platform for students to shine and discover their true potential.
