Thirteen Injured in Coal Mine Collapse in Ankara Province, Turkey
Thirteen people were injured in a coal mine collapse in the Beypazar district of Ankara province, Turkey, according to reports from TRT Haber.
The incident took place on April 10 in the morning at a coal mine located in the Hirkatepe neighborhood. The collapse occurred in the section where production machines were located, trapping a total of 29 people inside.
Eleven of the injured individuals were taken to Beypazarı State Hospital for treatment, while two were transferred to a hospital in Ankara. Unfortunately, one of the injured is in a serious condition.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collapse and are working tirelessly to ensure the safety of those still inside the mine. Our thoughts are with the injured individuals and their families during this difficult time.
