Two Passenger Buses Collide Near Gerede Toll Booths, 15 Injured
A tragic accident occurred near the Gerede Toll Booths when two passenger buses collided while travelling in the direction of Istanbul. The bus with registration number 34 HJ 9095, driven by RB, crashed into the bus with registration number 44 AFN 688, driven by GRI.
Emergency services including 112 Emergency Service, police, and fire brigade teams quickly responded to the scene upon notification. Initial reports indicate that 15 people were injured in the accident. The injured individuals were promptly taken to hospitals in the city for medical treatment.
As a result of the collision, transportation towards Istanbul is currently limited to a single lane. Authorities are working to clear the area and restore normal traffic flow.
