18 Hectares of Land Transferred for Khan-Teniri Hotel Construction
Land plots on the shore of Issyk-Kul lake in Kyrgyzstan have been transferred to the Department of Presidential Affairs for perpetual use, according to a recent order signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Akylbek Japarov.
The Cabinet of Ministers granted the Department of Presidential Affairs land plots in the Toru-Aigyr-Tamchi rural municipality totaling 18.15 hectares. Out of this area, 12.75 hectares fall under the category of “Land of specially protected natural areas” and 5.40 hectares are classified as “Agricultural land.”
Instructions have been given to transform the agricultural land plot into the corresponding category of land with the assistance of the state administration of Issyk-Kul district.
In other news related to development in the region, a new five-star hotel named Khan-Teniri is under construction in Tamchy village, as part of one of the largest investment projects in the country. The estimated cost of the project is $160 million, and the hotel is set to be located just 700 meters from the airport.
The luxurious hotel will feature a chairman suite, 20 suites, 109 standard rooms with Kyrgyz cultural influences, and 14 villas offering panoramic views of the lake. Additionally, the hotel will include a natural pool, ballroom, conference halls, spa center, world cuisine restaurant, outdoor sports facilities, and beach sunbathing areas.
The construction of the hotel is expected to be completed within two years, providing a new and upscale option for visitors to enjoy the beauty of Issyk-Kul lake in Kyrgyzstan.
