According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), a total of 193,688 vehicles were registered in the traffic in the month of June. This brings the overall number of registered vehicles to 27,525,301 as of the end of June.

TurkStat released the statistics for motor land vehicles for the month of June 2023. The data shows that out of the total vehicles registered, 46.1% were motorcycles, 39.1% were automobiles, 8.4% were pickup trucks, 4.1% were tractors, 1.6% were trucks, 0.3% were buses, and 0.1% were special purpose vehicles.

As of the end of June, the breakdown of registered vehicles is as follows: automobiles accounted for 53.4%, motorcycles for 16.6%, pickup trucks for 15.9%, tractors for 7.8%, trucks for 3.4%, minibuses for 1.8%, buses for 0.8%, and special purpose vehicles for 0.3% of the total.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that the number of vehicles registered to traffic has shown an increase of 81.9% in the January-June period compared to the same period of the previous year. During this period, the number of registered vehicles reached 1,057,643, while the number of vehicles with deleted registration decreased by 23.4% to 14,753. Overall, there has been an increase of 1,042,890 vehicles in traffic.

In terms of fuel types, 67.2% of the cars registered in the January-June period were gasoline-based, 19.6% were diesel, 8.6% were hybrid, 3% were electric, and 1.6% were LPG vehicles.

Regarding engine cylinder volumes, 35.7% of the registered cars had volumes of 1300 or less, 24.2% had volumes between 1401 and 1500, 20.6% had volumes between 1301 and 1400, 9.4% had volumes between 1501 and 1600, 6.4% had volumes between 1601 and 2000, and 0.7% had volumes of 2001 and above.

In terms of color, 33.2% of the registered cars were gray, 30.5% were white, 12.2% were blue, 9.9% were black, 7.4% were red, 2.9% were green, 2.5% were orange, 0.6% were brown, and 0.6% were yellow.
