2,000+ Clinics Operating Without License or Specialists, Says Health Minister
More than 2,000 clinics in Kyrgyzstan operate without a license or specialists, according to the Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliev. In a recent interview on Birinchi Radio, Beishenaliev highlighted the concerning fact that approximately 2,080 medical clinics across various profiles are operating without the necessary credentials.
Beishenaliev emphasized that the Ministry of Health has the authority to take administrative measures against these establishments. Fines for operating without a license or specialists can range from 100,000 to 1 million soms. He also mentioned that the Ministry of Health is working on amendments to the bill to regulate the inspection process of these unauthorized clinics.
The Health Minister expressed serious concerns about how such clinics can become a breeding ground for dangerous diseases like HIV and hepatitis. It is imperative to address this issue promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of the public.
Authorities are reminded to remain vigilant and take necessary actions to regulate and monitor medical facilities to prevent the spread of infections and protect the health of the population.
