Agricultural Support Payments for 2024 Announced by Minister Yumaklı
Minister Yumaklı recently made a statement regarding the much-awaited agricultural support payments for 2024. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has officially announced the date for the distribution of these payments.
During a visit to an animal farm in a city, Minister Yumaklı provided details about the agricultural support payments. He mentioned, “Our support for farmers continues. Today, a total of 2 billion 900 million liras will be deposited into the accounts of our producers, including calf support and other forms of support. I congratulate the city of Gaziantep and our hardworking entrepreneurs. I encourage other producers to follow their lead. Vaccination against animal diseases, especially Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD), will continue for the next month. I urge all producers in Turkey to ensure their animals are vaccinated during this period.”
The breakdown of the agricultural support payments for 2024 is as follows:
– 1 billion 148 million 843 thousand 109 TL for Raw Milk support
– 600 million TL for Herbal Product Insurance support
– 110 million 424 thousand 58 TL for Animal Disease Compensation support
– 86 million 872 thousand 475 TL for Rural Development Investment support
– 14 million 442 thousand 653 TL for Cereal-Legume and Grain Corn support
– 1 million 292 thousand 825 TL for Certified Seed Use support
– 170 thousand 880 TL for Animal Gene Resources support
Farmers and producers are advised to stay updated on the payment schedule and make necessary arrangements to receive their support payments on time.
