2024 Pension Increase Differences to be Paid in August!

The Social Security Institution (SGK) has announced the payment dates for the pension increase differences for January 2024, as well as the additional payments to be made to war and duty disabled people. The monthly difference in pensions for retired, disabled, duty disabled, widow, or orphan pension, effective as of January 1, 2024, will be sent to banks and PTT branches from which they receive the pension as of January 26. The payment will begin on Friday, 2024.

For those who receive monthly salaries every month, the payment will include January’s difference. For those who receive their monthly salaries quarterly, the payment will depend on the group they belong to. The difference amount to be paid to 2,481,769 people is 19.3 Billion TL.

Additionally, under the additional article 79 of the Turkish Retirement Fund Law No. 5434, additional payments will be made to those who are granted war or duty disability pension within the first three months of the year at the latest. This payment will be made to 59,033 people who receive monthly salaries within the scope of Law No. 5510, 4/1-(a) (SSK), 4/1-(b) (BAĞ-KUR) and 4/1-(c) (Emekli Fund), with a total payment amount of 992.9 Million TL.

The additional payment amounts for 2023 will range between 30,434.84 TL and 16,739.16 TL and will be sent to the bank accounts or PTT centers of the beneficiaries and will begin to be paid on Friday, January 26, 2024.
