2025 Event Planning Committee Formed
President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has taken a significant step towards promoting peace and trust by signing a Decree to establish a State Organizational Committee. This committee will focus on the high-level organization of events to mark the designation of 2025 as the “International Year of Peace and Trust” and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality.
The United Nations General Assembly Resolution “2025 International Year of Peace and Trust,” which was unanimously adopted by UN member states on Turkmenistan’s initiative on March 21, 2024, will be a key focus of the events. Additionally, the celebration of Turkmenistan’s 30 years of neutrality will be commemorated through major international forums, conferences, meetings, celebrations, and events throughout the year.
These events will be organized in collaboration with Turkmenistan’s reliable and constructive international partners, including foreign countries and international organizations. The goal is to promote peace, trust, and cooperation on a global scale.
This initiative underscores Turkmenistan’s commitment to fostering a culture of peace and diplomacy, and the State Organizational Committee will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of these events.
