24-Hour Factory Fire Results in Ashes
A fire that started with a spark has destroyed a factory located in the İkitelli Organized Industrial Zone in Başakşehir, Turkey. The 6-storey building, which was used for production and storage of plastics, textiles, furniture, and stationery, caught fire on the roof and rapidly spread to other floors. Despite the efforts of numerous firefighters, the fire continued burning for 24 hours, causing part of the building to collapse. Eight employees who were trapped inside were rescued by the teams.
