3-Storey Building in Çekmeköy Engulfed in Flames – Breaking News!
A fire broke out in a 3-storey building in Çekmeköy, Istanbul causing panic among residents. The incident occurred on Dutluk Street in Merkez Mahallesi and the flames spread quickly, raising concerns for the safety of those in the building.
Fortunately, the surrounding residents acted promptly and alerted the authorities. Fire brigade, police, and medical teams rushed to the scene to bring the situation under control. Despite the intense flames, the teams were able to extinguish the fire and prevent any casualties.
The terrace of the building suffered extensive damage and became unusable as a result of the fire. However, no deaths or injuries were reported, providing some relief in the midst of the chaos.
In a separate incident, a workshop also caught on fire, causing the destruction of 1 million TL which the business owner had hidden in a bucket. The intense flames reduced the money to ashes, adding to the losses suffered in the fire.
Authorities are currently investigating the cause of both fires and ensuring that necessary measures are in place to prevent similar incidents in the future.
