Bishkek Police Detain Suspect in Murder Case
On October 4, the Criminal Investigation Department of the capital’s police detained a 32-year-old man suspected of murder, as reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek.
The incident occurred when the duty unit of the Department of Internal Affairs of Pervomaisky district received a report that an unknown person had stabbed a man with a knife on Kuliev Street and fled. Upon arrival at the scene, it was discovered that the victim, a 23-year-old citizen, had succumbed to his injuries in the ambulance.
A murder case was opened under the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, and all necessary examinations have been ordered. The investigators were able to identify the suspect and successfully detain him. The Pervomaisky District Court has placed him in a pretrial detention center for two months as the investigation continues.
