350 TBEA Specialists Boosting Power Units at Bishkek HPP

Bishkek Heating and Power Plant undergoes major repairs by TBEA Chinese company
Specialists from the Chinese company TBEA are currently carrying out major repairs on power units at the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant (HPP). The Deputy Mayor of Bishkek, Taalaibek Baigaziev, who oversees the energy sector, shared this information on Birinchi Radio.
The focus of the repairs is on Chinese power units that were put into operation in 2017 and had only undergone minor repairs previously. In July of this year, a full major repair of two units began, which includes a complete renovation of the equipment.
Baigaziev noted that in past winters, the power units operated at a maximum load of 210 megawatts, despite their design capacity of 450 megawatts, which was achieved with great effort. This year, there are plans to increase the capacity of the units to 300 megawatts, and for the older equipment, to 150 megawatts.
These repair efforts are crucial for ensuring reliable and efficient operation of the Bishkek Heating and Power Plant, and will contribute to meeting the energy needs of the city. The collaboration with TBEA Chinese company demonstrates a commitment to maintaining and improving the infrastructure for providing electricity to the residents of Bishkek.
