Operation against PKK/KCK in 19 provinces: 40 detained
A recent operation targeting the terrorist organization PKK/KCK in 19 provinces has resulted in the detention of 40 suspects. The operation, led by the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Gendarmerie General Command’s Anti-Terrorism Department, utilized the Gürz-30 tactic in provinces such as Adıyaman, Ağrı, Antalya, and Diyarbakır, among others.
Minister Yerlikaya took to social media to announce the success of the operation, emphasizing the importance of continued efforts to ensure peace, unity, and solidarity within the nation. He stated, “We continue our fight with determination until the last terrorist is neutralized.”
During the operation, authorities seized unlicensed weapons, drugs, organizational documents, and digital materials related to the terrorist organization. Images of the successful operation were shared by Yerlikaya, who also commended the efforts of the chief public prosecutor’s office and the gendarmerie.
The ongoing struggle against terrorism remains a top priority for the government, as they work towards maintaining security and stability across the country.
