Cargo Transportation Volume in Kyrgyzstan Sees 5.9% Increase in 2024
According to data provided by the National Statistical Committee, the volume of cargo transportation in Kyrgyzstan saw a 5.9 percent increase in 2024.
From January to December, the total volume of cargo transported by all types of transport reached 54 million tons. This marks an increase of 3 million tons (5.9 percent) compared to the same period in 2023.
In December alone, cargo transportation by all types of transport increased by 0.3 million tons (5.7 percent) compared to December 2023.
It is worth noting that private entrepreneurs play a significant role in cargo transportation in the country.
This increase in cargo transportation volume showcases the ongoing growth and development of the transportation sector in Kyrgyzstan. The efficient and effective movement of goods is essential for the country’s economy and trade relations with other nations.
