500 Construction Companies in Kyrgyzstan Facing License Revocation
The State Construction Agency in Bishkek has announced that they are preparing a list of companies that will be deprived of their licenses. The head of the agency, Nurdan Oruntaev, made this announcement at a press conference.
Oruntaev mentioned that out of the 7,000 licenses that have been issued, only 2,000 companies are actively working. The agency has identified around 500 companies that are in violation of their license terms and will face revocation.
During the press conference, Oruntaev shared a personal experience where he was offered to sell a license for $6,000, even though its actual cost is only 1,000 soms. He urged businessmen to directly contact the State Construction Agency to obtain licenses, emphasizing the principle of “easy to gain and easy to lose.”
Oruntaev stressed that if a company violates construction standards or engages in illegal activities, their license will be revoked. Businesses interested in obtaining a license should reach out to the State Construction Agency with the required documents and services. The agency promises a hassle-free registration process if all necessary requirements are met.
Overall, the State Construction Agency is taking steps to ensure that companies adhere to regulations and operate within the bounds of the law. It is important for businesses to comply with the agency’s guidelines to maintain their licenses and avoid any potential revocation.
