
506 Judges and Prosecutors Replaced in Turkey: HSK Decree Published

In a recent announcement from the 1st Chamber of the Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK), it has been revealed that the places of duty for 506 judges and prosecutors have been changed as part of the 2023 fall decree.
The decree, which has been completed by the department, affects a total of 506 individuals, with 480 in the judicial judiciary and 26 in the administrative judiciary. These changes have been made due to various excuses.
One notable change within the scope of the decree is the appointment of Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor Mehmet Aydın as Istanbul Anatolian Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor.
In addition to this, several other significant appointments have been made, including Ankara Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Ahmet Yıkılmaz to the Supreme Court of Appeals Public Prosecutor’s Office, and Istanbul Anatolian Deputy Chief Public Prosecutor Mesut Erdinç Bayhan to the Istanbul Regional Court of Appeals Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç commented on the changes, expressing his hope that it will be beneficial for the country and the judicial community. He also extended his best wishes for success to the judges and public prosecutors in their new roles.
