
57 Hectares of Illegally Privatized Land in Issyk-Kul Region Restored to State Ownership

The local prosecutor’s office in Bishkek has successfully recovered 57 hectares of pasture land in the Tyup district of Issyk-Kul region, returning it to state ownership. This action was taken after it was discovered that the land had been illegally transferred to private ownership. The market value of the pasture is estimated to be 153,138 million soms.
The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic confirmed the return of the land and emphasized that efforts are ongoing to reclaim other illegally transferred properties. The prosecution authorities are dedicated to ensuring that land in Kyrgyzstan is rightfully owned by the state and not unlawfully taken by individuals or entities.
