
60th Anniversary BRT Cycling Championship

BRT 60th Anniversary Cycling Championship Celebrates Radio’s Founding Event
The BRT 60th Anniversary Cycling Championship was held today as part of the Bayrak Radio’s 60th founding events. The theme of this year’s race was “60 kilometers a year”, and it was a symbolic start in front of Bayrak Radio and Television Corporation.
The cyclists participated in the race, starting from the Gönyeli exit and completing the route on the Yılmazköy – Mevlevi route, returning from the Mevlevi circle and following the same route again.
At the ceremony held in front of BRT, the winners were presented with their awards by BRT Manager Meryem Özkurt, BRT Chairman of the Board of Directors Salih Doratlı, Bicycle Federation President Salih Yalızat, and Bicycle Federation Central Referee Board President Hüseyin Güzoğlu.
In the General Classification, Kirill Ermakov won first place, followed by Enes Tekkanat in second place and Jason Robert Walker in third place.
Other winners included Soner Kbaş in the Senior Men’s category, Enes Tekkanat in the Young Men’s category, and Jason Robert Walker in the Master 1 Men’s category. The competition also featured winners in the Master 2, Master 3, Master 4, and Master 5 Men’s categories, as well as the Master 1 Women’s category and the Star A category.
The BRT 60th Anniversary Cycling Championship brought together cyclists of all ages and skill levels, celebrating the spirit of competition and camaraderie. Congratulations to all the winners and participants of this special event.
