Seven-year-old Boy’s Body Found after Drowning in Tokmak City
The body of a seven-year-old boy who drowned in Tokmak city has been found, according to reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The child’s family reported him missing on May 13, a day after he disappeared. The boy was last seen playing on the street in Dacha-1 village the day before.
Rescuers, police officers, and local residents were involved in the search for the missing boy. The search came to an end on May 14 when the boy’s body was found in Chu river at the 55th kilometer of the Bishkek – Naryn – Torugart highway. The body was handed over to the police.
The tragic incident has left the family and community in shock. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death. This serves as a reminder to parents and guardians to keep a close eye on their children, especially near water bodies.
