Police operation results in detention of 8 suspects in Iğdır
An operation conducted by the Iğdır Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has resulted in the detention of 8 suspects, including DEM Party Provincial Chairman Mehmet Selçuk. The operation was carried out as part of an investigation into an attack that took place 9 years ago, where 13 police officers were martyred by PKK terrorists.
The attack occurred when a remote-controlled bomb was detonated by PKK terrorists as a midibus carrying police officers and a protective vehicle were passing through the Dilucu Border Gate.
