The Massachusetts State Police reported that the issue was resolved around 15:49 local time, allowing citizens to resume calling emergency services through the 911 line. This incident follows similar disruptions in other US states last April, including Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, and Texas, leading to an investigation by the Federal Communications Commission. Thankfully, the technical malfunctions were swiftly addressed in those cases as well.
