9th Annual Leymosunlular Meeting set for July 31st in Kyrenia
The 9th Traditional Leymosun Residents Gathering is set to take place in the historic Kyrenia Ancient Harbour on Wednesday, July 31st at 6:00 PM. Organized in collaboration with the Leymosun Cultural Foundation and Kyrenia Municipality, this gathering aims to bring together residents of Leymosun for a day of celebration and cultural exchange.
President of the Leymosun Culture Foundation, Yücem Rasımoğlu, shared details about the event, highlighting their goal of reviving the ancient Kyrenia Port and welcoming residents of Limassol, including those living in England. Rasımoğlu also mentioned plans to publish a book featuring the works of retired chemistry teacher Kemal Atay, titled “Leymosun Köyleri”.
Board Member Ayşen Atabey Karaosman revealed the event program, which includes folklore shows, a raffle with exciting prizes, and a stage performance by Grup Otantik. Attendees can also enjoy local Turkish Cypriot delicacies and Limassol specialties available for purchase at various stands throughout the event.
