A Holiday of Inclusion: How Schoolchildren Celebrated Children with Disabilities
Students of the 9th “B” class at the joint Turkmen-Russian secondary comprehensive school named after A.S. Pushkin recently organized a heartwarming charity event in celebration of the New Year. Under the guidance of their class teacher, Elena Yuryevna Dorofeeva, the students hosted a festive matinee for children with disabilities.
The event saw the young guests excitedly welcoming Father Frost and Snow Maiden, engaging in fun games with fairy-tale characters, and receiving gifts that brought smiles to their faces. This initiative, known as the “Give Good” campaign, has become a beloved tradition of the class, aimed at spreading warmth and care to those in need.
The students’ dedication to congratulating children with disabilities and their families demonstrates their compassion and empathy, instilling values of kindness and support in their young hearts. The event not only brings joy to the recipients but also fosters a sense of responsibility and a desire to give back to the community.
By promoting the ideals of humanism and inclusivity, the school and its dedicated teacher aim to cultivate socially responsible citizens. The success of the “Give Good” campaign serves as a shining example of how small acts of kindness can have a significant impact, inspiring others to take part in charitable projects and make a difference in the world.
Special recognition is given to the director of IE “Ganatly Mekan,” Bagty Annaeva, whose commitment and support were instrumental in organizing the holiday. Her attention to detail and care for every participant made the day truly memorable and meaningful.
Initiatives like these not only encourage mutual assistance and solidarity but also nurture a generation of individuals committed to creating positive change. By instilling a sense of altruism in children, we are paving the way for a brighter and more compassionate future.
