Accordions Crash in Tashkent: Two Bus Collision

An incident in the Sergeli district of Tashkent has left four people injured after two 18-meter King Long buses collided. The accident occurred when one bus stopped at a pedestrian crossing to allow a pedestrian to pass, and the bus behind it failed to maintain a safe distance and crashed into it.

The buses involved were on routes 131 and 58, with the collision taking place on Yangi Sergeli Street on June 14 at 16:14. The driver of the second bus, the conductor, and two passengers sustained injuries as a result of the crash. Both buses also suffered technical damage.

Toshshakhartranskhizmat, the public transportation service, has initiated an internal investigation into the incident, while the Tashkent city Department of Internal Affairs is also looking into the matter.
