Adakhan Madumarov’s Son Fined for Fake Number Plate Usage

Bishkek – 24.kg News Agency – January 18, 2025

The son of former deputy of Parliament Adakhan Madumarov, Nurmukhammed, found himself in trouble yet again as he was fined by officers of the Patrol Police Service for driving a car with fake number plates. A video of the incident surfaced on social media, drawing attention to the politician’s son’s legal troubles.

Upon inspection, it was revealed that the number plate on the car was registered to Nurmukhammed Madumarov. Despite his explanation that all fines would still be sent to his name, the police clarified that using fake number plates, even if registered, was against the law. The Department of the Patrol Police Service emphasized that each vehicle is allocated only one number plate which must be visibly displayed on the car.

Consequently, a fine was issued in the name of Nurmukhammed Madumarov, and his car was impounded. This incident is not the first time that the politician’s son has faced legal repercussions. In November 2023, he had his driving license revoked for a year due to driving under the influence of alcohol.

It remains to be seen how Nurmukhammed Madumarov will handle this latest setback and whether he will heed the laws and regulations set forth by the authorities in the future.
