ADB to provide $147 million in loans to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, March 15, 2025 – The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is set to provide Kyrgyzstan with a total of $222 million in funding for various projects in the country. The ADB has approved $147.2 million in concessional loans from its ordinary capital, with an additional $74.8 million potentially being allocated in grants from its special funds.

The agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers and ADB is currently being reviewed in the second reading by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan. Once ratified, this funding will support key development initiatives in the country.
