Admissions Open for Master’s Program in Uzbekistan for Next Academic Year
New Language Requirements Announced for Master’s Program Applicants
The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation has recently announced new language requirements for applicants to master’s programs in Uzbekistan. Starting today, July 1, applicants can submit their applications for the master’s programs, with document submission continuing until July 30.
According to the ministry, applications for master’s specialties can be submitted through the magistr.edu.uz platform. This new announcement comes after a presidential decree related to admissions was issued, which stated that the foreign language requirement for admission to master’s programs at higher education institutions would be adjusted depending on the specialties.
Previously, a C1 level was required for philological specialties, while a B2 level was required for all other specialties. With this new announcement, the language requirement for admission to master’s programs is expected to be lowered, making it easier for applicants to apply and pursue their higher education goals.
This update in language requirements aims to make the admissions process more accessible and inclusive for all applicants, regardless of their language proficiency. Applicants are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their applications within the specified timeframe to be considered for admission to master’s programs in Uzbekistan.
