Adolat Party Proposes Lifetime Driving Ban for Repeat Traffic Offenders
The Adolat Social Democratic Party is taking a firm stance on traffic violations by proposing a lifetime ban on driving for repeat offenders. The suggestion was made by party representative Dilmurod Ismailov during a televised pre-election debate, where he emphasized the grave dangers posed by habitual traffic violators.
Ismailov stressed the need for a law that would permanently revoke driving privileges for individuals who commit serious traffic offenses. He pointed out the prevailing issue of repeated violations of traffic rules in society and called for stricter measures to address it. “A current societal issue is the systematic violation of traffic rules, which is why we need to adopt a law that enforces a lifetime driving ban for severe infractions,” Ismailov stated.
This proposal comes on the heels of similar concerns raised by Robakhon Makhmudova, Chairperson of the Adolat Party, who also advocated for stricter consequences for speeding drivers. Makhmudova argued that simply increasing fines is not enough to curb the number of accidents and violations on the road. She believes that imposing lifetime bans on reckless drivers would serve as a more effective deterrent to prevent future incidents.
As the Adolat Social Democratic Party continues to push for tougher measures against traffic violations, their proposed lifetime ban on driving for repeat offenders could potentially make a significant impact on road safety in the country.
