Advancements in Turkmen-Chinese Humanitarian Relations Recognized in Orient
The Vice-President for Medical Affairs of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, Ms. O. Atabayeva, recently met with the Vice-Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People’s Republic of China, Ms. Shen Beili. The meeting took place in Turkmenistan as Ms. Shen Beili arrived to participate in the international conference “The Year of Peace and Trust: Development of International Activities in the Name of Children”.
During the meeting, it was highlighted that Turkmenistan places great emphasis on supporting children who have lost their parents and require guardianship, in line with the high humanistic principles of the Turkmen people. The Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was established in March 2021 under the initiative of Hero Arkadag, and actively collaborates with various international organizations, including UNICEF.
Both parties discussed the potential for establishing strong ties between the Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Soong Ching Ling Foundation of the People’s Republic of China.
The Vice-Chairperson of the Soong Ching Ling Foundation expressed support for the noble humanitarian activities of the Charitable Foundation and congratulated them on their 4th anniversary. She also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the international conference that marked this significant milestone.
The collaboration between these two foundations holds promise for furthering their shared goal of providing support and assistance to children in need of guardianship.
