Advancing Global Initiatives for Children’s Rights
The city of Arkadag recently hosted the International Conference “The Year of Peace and Provenness: Development of International Activities in the interests of children” on March 29, 2025. The conference was dedicated to the 4th anniversary of the establishment of a charitable foundation for children in need by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The event was attended by heads and representatives of state structures and public organizations from various countries including Uzbekistan, Turkey, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, India, Georgia, Armenia, Pakistan, and Austria, as well as international organizations. Participants included officials from ministries, public organizations, educational institutions, and media outlets.
The foundation, established on the initiative of the Hero-Arkadag, celebrates its 4th anniversary in the international year of peace and trust and the 30th anniversary of the country’s neutrality. Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the country is focused on nurturing a healthy, patriotic, and morally strong young generation. Investment in education, infrastructure, and living conditions for children is a top priority in Turkmenistan.
The government’s policy also emphasizes the importance of protecting the health of mothers and children, ensuring their physical and spiritual well-being. The creation of the charitable foundation by Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov reflects the deep-rooted tradition of caring for every child in the country.
The conference highlighted the country’s efforts to provide a healthy and prosperous future for its youth, laying the foundation for a strong and morally sound society. Through education, infrastructure development, and social welfare initiatives, Turkmenistan is committed to creating a bright future for its children.
