Advancing in Education: Ministry Reveals Teacher Progression Details
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has recently released a guide detailing how teachers can advance in their profession in 2024. The guide, titled “Guide on Progress in the Career Steps of the Teaching Profession in 2024”, was prepared in accordance with the Regulation on Candidate Teachers and Teaching Profession Career Steps.
According to the Ministry’s statement, the guide outlines the work, procedures, application conditions, and calendar for teachers looking to progress in their careers. Specifically, teachers looking to apply for training programs for the specialist teacher and head teacher titles can do so between December 25, 2024, and January 1, 2025, through the “https://mebbis.meb.gov.tr” website.
Certificates for the specialist teacher and head teacher titles will be issued starting from December 27. Those who receive these titles will be eligible for education compensation from the date their certificates are issued. The training programs for these titles will be conducted through the “Teacher Information Network” using distance education methods.
