Upon discovering the fraudulent video, Prof. Dr. Özkan took immediate action and filed a criminal complaint with the authorities. He expressed his frustration at the misuse of artificial intelligence, stating that it has now turned into a form of violence. The video, which remains online after five days, poses a significant threat to society, as it can potentially mislead individuals and cause chaos.
Furthermore, it was revealed that other prominent figures, including popular artists like Levent Yüksel, have also fallen victim to similar scams. In another fraudulent video, Yüksel’s voice was replicated using artificial intelligence, leading him to endorse a fake product for knee pain relief.
