AK Party Central Executive Committee Meeting Held on Tuesday

After the recent election results, President Erdoğan is making moves to analyze the outcomes and make changes within the AK Party. The Central Executive Board is set to meet to discuss the loss of votes and reasons why voters may have switched their preferences. The party is taking a closer look at the candidate selection process to determine where improvements can be made.
President Erdoğan has emphasized the need for change within the party before the upcoming congress, hinting at potential shifts in leadership and strategy. The AK Party plans to conduct a nationwide field study called “We are listening to Turkey” to gather feedback from voters and address the areas where support has waned.
After the MYK meeting, President Erdoğan will lead discussions at the Extended Provincial Heads meetings and MKYK meetings in the coming weeks. The party is gearing up to make necessary adjustments to regain voter confidence and strengthen support in preparation for future elections.
