Akşener Announces Plan to Appoint 100 Thousand Teachers in Turkey

IYI Party Chairman Meral Akşener has addressed the public at a program held at Cumhuriyet Square in Çanakkale. The rally saw Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mansur Yavaş, Çanakkale Mayor Ülgür Gökhan, deputies, and IYI Party and CHP deputy candidates in attendance. Akşener began her speech by addressing AK Party voters, stating that “this is the last election”. She urged them to vote for the one who promised to switch to the parliamentary system, bring democracy, rule of law, justice, and independence quickly, prevent theft, and not steal. Akşener also called for voters to vote for the 13th President Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu and the IYI Party, adding that it was not possible for Mr. Erdogan to be elected again. Akşener also announced that if her party wins the election, they will appoint 100,000 teachers and reopen 11,000 village schools. They will also restructure the debts of everyone working in agriculture, make inputs cheaper, and provide discounts of at least 20, 30, 50 percent on diesel, electricity, food, and fertilizer. They will pay the SGK or BAĞKUR premiums for people in the 50-55 age group in villages so that young people can go there and produce.

Akşener also pledged to pay 2,500 liras to the women of low-income families, as well as provide support to youths between the ages of 18-26. Additionally, she promised to make Çanakkale the country’s most popular tourist destination and the number 1 city in nature tourism. She also declared that all unfinished roads, dams, and irrigation canals would be completed within one year.
