Akşener pledges to support refugees

Meral Akşener, the Chairman of Turkey’s IYI Party, made some significant election promises during her recent rally in Bursa. She stated that her party would take initiatives to help university graduates in finding a job, as well as taking a concrete step to send refugees back to their respective countries.

Akşener emphasized that the youth necessitated more opportunities in the employment sector, and she underlined how her party would be striving to make sure that the young citizens got their apt jobs. One of the essential aspects of IYI’s election manifesto is to kickstart a program aimed at providing professional training and education to individuals who have completed their university degree but still remained unemployed.

Furthermore, Turkey has been going through a challenging phase regarding the refugee crisis in recent years. Turkey is hosting over four million refugees, which is an overwhelming number by any means. Akşener has declared that the IYI Party would take necessary steps immediately to ensure that refugees are swiftly repatriated back to their respective countries.

The IYI Party Chairman’s statements have been significant as she’s trying to cater to two of the most significant concerns for the citizens of Turkey – the unemployment rate and catering to the massive refugee population. The upcoming elections in Turkey promises to be an exciting one as more such promises and pledges would be made by various political parties.
