Akylbek Japarov Donates 180 Million Soms Worth of Special Equipment to NENK

Bishkek, July 12, 2024 – The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, has recently handed over 30 units of special equipment to the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan (NENK) OJSC. This allocation of special equipment was made possible by the allocation of 180 million soms for the purchase.

In a statement by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers, it was revealed that a total of 65 units of special equipment have been purchased in 2024 for a total of 271 million soms. This investment comes as part of a larger plan to open 100 enterprises in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region.

During the handover ceremony, Akylbek Japarov emphasized the importance of ensuring uninterrupted power supply for the new enterprises. He stated, “The development of our country’s economy depends on your work.” The special equipment, which includes ten loader cranes, seven excavators, seven truck-mounted platforms, three truck cranes, and three dump trucks, will be distributed to regional offices to support the operations of the new enterprises.
