Akylbek Japarov Holds Talks with Turkish Business Delegates

Kyrgyz Prime Minister urges Turkish businesses to invest in Kyrgyzstan

During his official visit to Ankara, Kyrgyz Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov met with representatives of large Turkish businesses to discuss investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan. Japarov highlighted the presence of about 300 companies with Turkish capital operating in Kyrgyzstan across various industries, providing employment for thousands of Kyrgyz workers.

The Prime Minister encouraged Turkish entrepreneurs to actively invest in Kyrgyzstan, citing the successful implementation of about 70 projects by Turkish contractors in the country. Japarov expressed his confidence in the potential for even more successful projects in the future, emphasizing the need for investments, advanced technologies, and management methods from Turkish companies to contribute to the development of Kyrgyzstan’s economy.

In response, the President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, Rifat Hisarcıkoğlu, expressed gratitude for the favorable conditions created in Kyrgyzstan for foreign investors and noted the presence of representatives from large Turkish companies at the meeting.

The discussions underscore the growing economic ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey and the potential for further collaboration in driving economic growth and development in Kyrgyzstan.
