
Akylbek Japarov tours factories and enterprises in Kara-Balta

On March 19, 2024, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Japarov, visited the Dan state enterprise in Kara-Balta city during his working trip to the Chui region. The Cabinet of Ministers’ press service reported that Japarov had the opportunity to see the production shops, investment projects, and plans for the development and modernization of the enterprise.
The company has outlined three projects aimed at achieving full production capacity and expanding its range of commercial products. These projects include the purchase of a multi-storey mill complex, modern equipment for pasta production, and equipment for animal feed production. Additionally, plans entail the opening of a bakery, confectionery shop, a workshop for bottling drinking mineral water, and acquiring modern laboratory equipment.
Efforts have been made to restore empty and idle production areas at the enterprise, including the renovation of a feed mill shop with a 10,000-ton capacity for receiving food wheat. Currently, the company employs over 120 individuals.
During his visit, Akylbek Japarov also inspected the Kara-Balta Mining Plant OJSC and Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC gold refinery. He reviewed the progress of constructing a plant for producing gold weighted ingots, scheduled for completion in the summer. Additionally, Japarov examined the idle molybdenum production plant and the multifunctional canning plant, as well as visited a plant for expanded clay production in Moskovsky district, which is expected to create 70 jobs once fully operational.
The developments at these enterprises indicate positive strides towards economic growth and job creation in Kyrgyzstan’s Chui region.
