Official Visit of Prime Minister of Albania to Turkey
The Directorate of Communications has announced that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, will be paying an official visit to Turkey on February 20, 2024, in response to an invitation from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The visit will include the first meeting of the Turkey-Albania High Level Cooperation Council in Ankara, which will be presided over by President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Rama. The council meeting will cover all aspects of Turkey-Albania relations and discuss steps to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
In addition to discussions on bilateral relations, the talks with NATO ally Albania will also focus on exchanging ideas on regional and international developments, especially in the Balkans, with an emphasis on maintaining peace and stability.
Furthermore, the visit will include the signing of various legal texts that will contribute significantly to the contractual basis of Turkey-Albania relations.
The official visit of Prime Minister Rama to Turkey is expected to further strengthen the ties between the two countries and pave the way for increased cooperation in various fields.
