Ali Babacan declares victory in election statement
Ali Babacan, the Chairman of DEVA Party, has issued a statement in regards to the uncertain results of the Presidential Election runoff. According to Babacan, 52% of voters have voted in favor of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and he has extended his congratulations to him. Babacan has encouraged Erdogan to use his authority without wavering from the values of justice, merit, and consultation.
The DEVA Party has been given the task of conducting democratic control in the elections, and Babacan has stated that the party will continue to do so “in the best possible way.” Additionally, the party will be starting intensive work on local elections as of the next day.
