The Brazilian shot-stopper made an impressive nine saves, a career-best in a single Champions League match, to keep his team in the game and secure a crucial 1-0 victory.
Alisson’s stellar performance not only earned him the Player of the Week award but also helped Liverpool advance to the quarter-finals of the competition. This season, Alisson has played 26 matches for Liverpool, conceding 20 goals and securing an impressive 12 clean sheets.
Real Madrid striker Rodrygo finished in second place in the Player of the Week rankings, followed by Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane in third, and Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard in fourth.
