Ambassador of Turkmenistan Meets with Vice President of Armenian Chamber of Commerce
Turkmenistan and Armenia Discuss Ways to Boost Trade and Economic Cooperation
On March 21, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Armenia, M. Ayazov, met with the Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Armenia, Karen Ivanov. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss ways to enhance the trade and economic potential of the two countries and increase the trade turnover between them.
During the meeting, the two officials discussed various issues related to transport and logistics infrastructure, as well as logistics communications. One of the topics that were raised was the possibility of opening a Trade House of Turkmenistan in Armenia, which could further promote bilateral trade relations.
Both parties expressed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and fostering closer economic ties between Turkmenistan and Armenia. It is hoped that initiatives like the proposed Trade House will contribute to the growth of trade and investment between the two friendly nations.
The meeting between Ambassador Ayazov and Vice President Ivanov signifies the ongoing efforts to deepen economic cooperation and create new opportunities for bilateral trade.
