Ankara’s Popular Bazaar Destroyed by Fire – Latest News from Turkey

A fire broke out at a 2-story spot goods shop in the Anafartalar District of Altındağ in Ankara. The fire started at around 13.00 during renovation work on the roof and quickly spread to a neighboring shop due to the windy conditions.

Authorities were alerted and a large number of firefighters, health teams, and police officers rushed to the scene. Police secured the area while firefighters worked to extinguish the flames.

After about an hour of intense efforts, the fire was finally put out, but unfortunately, two shops were damaged in the process. Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries in the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
