New Legislation Changes to Come into Force on December 1
A number of changes in legislation are set to come into force on December 1, bringing with them several updates and innovations. According to Norma.uz, the following changes and innovations are set to be implemented:

Increasing Salaries, Pensions, and Minimum Wage
Salaries of employees of budgetary organizations, pensions, and benefits will see a 7% increase, while the Basic Consumer Basket (BCA) will also increase by 3% to 372 thousand soums. Additionally, the minimum wage will be raised to 1,050,000 soums, and the basic amount for calculating pensions will be set at 372,000.

Cancellation of Certificate Requirements
The requirement for 47 types of certificates from the public and businesses will be cancelled. Instead, the necessary information will be made available in digital format on the Digital Government system.

Increase in Limit for Exported Cash Foreign Currency
The limit for the export of cash foreign currency by individuals will be increased from 70 million soums to 100 million soums. Any amount exceeding this limit will be subject to declaration and presentation to a customs officer.

New Services through the SEZ Directorate
Government services for placing investment projects, registering participants, concluding agreements on the implementation of investment projects, and leases can now be obtained directly from the directorate of special economic zones, in addition to the Single Portal and public service centers.

Changes in VAT Payment System for Breeding Livestock
The payment of VAT accrued on breeding cattle imported by livestock farms for their own needs, will now be made within 180 days, based on the guarantee of the Committee for Veterinary Medicine and Livestock Development.

Launch of National Severe Earthquake Early Warning System
An early warning system for strong earthquakes will be launched, providing urgent notifications to the population about an impending strong earthquake in certain territories of the republic.

Expanded List of Published Data
The list of socially significant information subject to placement as open data is being expanded to include information about a single online queue for pilgrims to go to Hajj, applications for the admission of children to state preschool educational organizations, and vacancies in central, regional, and departmental organizations, among others.

On-Site Services for Document Preparation
Citizens will be provided with on-site services in the field of migration, and can select a free day on which they wish to receive the service. Additionally, transportation costs will need to be paid for government services, ranging from 21.9% to 83.2% of the BCA, depending on the distance.

These changes are expected to bring several improvements and enhancements to various aspects of governance and public services, and will come into effect on December 1.
