Announcement of Gaziantep President and Deputy Vote Rates for May 14, 2023 Election Results
On May 14, 2023, Gaziantep, one of Turkey’s metropolitan cities, will elect 14 deputies in a highly anticipated election. The election results will be of great importance to both parties and presidential candidates. Gaziantep has a large number of voters, which means that the election results will have an effect on the general percentage as well.
Gaziantep has only one constituency, and the results of the votes in its 9 districts will have an impact on the overall outcome of the elections in the province. The districts of Gaziantep are Şahinbey, Şehitkamil, Araban, İslahiye, Karkamış, Nizip, Nurdağı, Oğuzeli, and Yavuzeli.
Voting will end at 17.00 on May 14, 2023, and according to the rules set by the Supreme Election Council (YSK), media outlets will not be allowed to publish results or predictions until 18.00. The YSK is expected to release initial news and statements about the election between 18.00 and 21.00. After 21:00, all broadcasts will be free, and YSK may even set this time earlier.
