The Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line Starts Paid Service
After a month of free service for the public opening, the Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line will start a paid service on June 1st, 2023. The line has seen an extraordinary amount of interest since its opening, with 110,000 passengers making use of the free service. The line promises to bring speed and comfort to travel in Anatolia, with travel time having been reduced from 12 hours to just 2 hours.
As of June 1st, the ticket prices have been announced for passengers who wish to continue using the high-speed train. The highly anticipated ticket price for the line has been set at 240 lira. The travel fee for the Ankara-Yozgat line and the Yozgat-Sivas line was determined to be 130 and 170 liras, respectively.
The Ankara-Sivas High Speed Train Line has been a significant investment in Turkey’s transportation infrastructure.
