Armenia and Kyrgyzstan Top Sunflower Oil Prices in EAEU

Armenia and Kyrgyzstan have been reported to have the highest consumer prices for sunflower oil among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). According to information from the EAEU website, as of June 2024, the average consumer price for a liter of sunflower oil in Armenia was 150.13 soms, while in Kyrgyzstan it was slightly lower at 146.76 soms.
Comparatively, the lowest price for vegetable oil was found in Kazakhstan at 120.16 soms per liter. In Russia, the cost of a liter of sunflower oil stood at 127.89 soms, and in Belarus, it was 135.52 soms.
This data sheds light on the varying prices of sunflower oil across the EAEU member countries, highlighting the differences in consumer prices within the region.
