Speaker of Georgian Parliament Emphasizes Importance of Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace Talks
During a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu in Tbilisi, Speaker of Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili highlighted the crucial role that peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan play in ensuring peace and prosperity in the South Caucasus region. The discussion between the two parties also touched upon the cooperation between Georgia and the OSCE, political processes within the country, legislative activities of the parliament, upcoming municipal elections, and issues regarding regional cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Georgia to Austria and Permanent Representative to the OSCE Alexander Maisuradze, as well as Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on International Relations and Head of the Delegation to the OSCE PA Nikoloz Samkharadze. This gathering further underscored the commitment of Georgia to fostering dialogue and cooperation within the region for the greater good of all involved parties.
