Azerbaijan Army prevents Armenian armed forces from conducting reconnaissance flights
On the evening of March 29 and the morning of March 30, the Armenian armed forces attempted three times to conduct reconnaissance flights over the positions of the Azerbaijan Army near the Gerenzur settlement. This was done using unmanned aerial vehicles and drones, as reported by Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
Thanks to the vigilance of the Azerbaijan Army units, the provocative attempts by Armenia were successfully prevented. In addition to the attempted reconnaissance flights, units of the Armenian armed forces also used small arms to repeatedly fire at the positions of the Azerbaijan Army from the directions of Gorus, Basarkechar, and Chambarak districts.
The ongoing tensions between Azerbaijan and Armenia highlight the need for continued vigilance and readiness on both sides to prevent any escalation of conflict in the region. The Azerbaijan Army’s swift actions in thwarting the reconnaissance attempts demonstrate their commitment to defending their territory and maintaining stability in the area.
